All excusing Piyush Goyals appalling claim of reciting the "shahada" daily as part of his "Hindu" rituals r covering up a profound issue of ideological confusion with dangerous pointer to the future: shows why pure unthinking ritualism provides the first gaps for the enemy.
From Rigvedic Purusha Sukta /Hiranyagarbha -to other origin concepts involving the three Vishnu/Brahma/Shiva - every aspect of Hindu "divinity" differs frm that in Islam. Linguistic dishonesty cant be used as excuse to make concepts "equal" when they differ so profoundly.
even "one god" concepts in Hinduism differs from that in Islamic in being a multifaceted entity, that either divides into many forms(Purusha Sukta) or creates/manifests into more than one form at same time, each acting independently and collaboratively.
"Hindu" "One god" is not mutually exclusive with "many gods" - a concept impossible to fit into the more simplistic and therefore exclusive, Islamic framework - which explicitly obsesses abt its claimed lack of "companions", esp female, of their one& only Ilaha.
the immediate next concern is the Islamic claim of laws to be followed by humans imposed by their "one god", which is not how Hindu law texts represent: for Hindus laws are clearly human made, mutable& negotiable as per changing needs of times and society.
If likes of Shri Piyush Goyal, who get immediate media traction on whatever they utter, are so utterly thoughtless in public in exposing their extreme callousness on ideological issues, its crucial to point out both the error and its consequences.
