A no deal Brexit deserves no credence. It's never going to happen.
It's just another bone for journalists to chew on, but it has no meaning in real life.

I don't understand why people's brains work the way they do. You seem to live at a pitch of constant hysteria, and if there is nothing to warrant it, you just invent it.

I can see you're enjoying yourselves, living like that, but it comes at the price of ignorance.
We're not going to leave the European Union with "no deal" as you insist on putting it.

What I mean is, the country is that we are not going to sit and watch our membership dissolve on October 31st.
They can write newspapers about it. There's no law against that. But it's never going to happen.

Why? You have to ask why?

Because the government won't survive that long, child. They've got a majority of 3. They can't pass a budget or a Queen's speech, and they can't prorogue parliament.

So if there's a general election, couldn't they just not ask for an extension so Brexit happened while they were all away?

I know all your morbid maunderings are drawn from legal theory. In theory, yes, that would happen. Our membership of the European Union would dissolve during the election campaign.
And the government would lose that election.

No government is ever going to execute or orchestrate an event of that magnitude and dimension, totally beyond its power to control, during a general election.
Seriously, if you even imagine shit like that, you need to go to a library and pick up a fucking book.

I've promised you things before, and you always get what I promise.
There will be a general election this autumn because Boris Johnson can't pass a budget or Queen's speech.
We will get a Brexit extension to allow for that election.
The Tories will offer another referendum.

The referendum will come next May or June because that's how long they take.

Oh yes, and my advice is take the fucking thing seriously this time.
