There was no debate on that policy change at the Clause 5 meeting in 2017 when the policy was adopted and included in the Labour Party Manifesto.

The impact of Self-ID would be disastrous for women and girls.

Transactivists demand that anyone under the 'trans umbrella' should be legally treated as the sex they identify as.

That would give licence to e.g. paedophiles, abusers, rapists, and violent predatory men etc to get access to women and girls in what should be single-sex spaces.

I left the party last year because of your policy.

I previously got a 'warning' for saying on Facebook that 'no woman can have a penis'.

That is a true statement.

Many say they will never vote Labour for that reason.

You have no idea how many because there is extreme intimidation in the party and many are afraid to speak up.

It's not pleasant to be accused of being 'transphobic' or hateful.
