Dear Distinguished Ezemmou @DrJoeAbah let me start by saying apology accepted and I wasn’t a bit offended nor took the exchanges to heart. You & I have done a lot together over the years and in your magnanimity you have taken a ‘No One’ like me seriously enough to engage.
To this extent you can do no wrong in my eyes as our actions will no doubt affect millions should we lose sight of the purpose of our collaboration. As we grow, there are certain things that will die to our attention thus tweets of certain characters make no meaning to me.
I also hardly get distracted by banters but because you were the one responding I tried to add my perspective not because I was against your position which has always been mine. I felt the need to present another perspective to the citizen you were engaging who felt dissatisfied.
I wasn’t asking the senate to suspend not standing on such argument but was simply saying the Senate could have avoided the negative optics of a man under investigation for a criminal offense pontificating on the floor after procuring an award for himself. The kids are watching.
Our youth need positive and credible role models. The dearth of this is ruining many lives. This you and I can agree upon. You have known me for a while to be a disrupt. Impossible has no meaning in my life journey. I believe in Revolution & nothing can change that position.
No one has ever believed in any of our advocacies on paper until the ideals starts manifesting and yielding the forecasted result. This I have practically proven over a decade across platforms and sectors. You have witnessed a few too. So trust me on this as well.
When I say Revolution a lot of people get sandbagged into what they have read and seen executed as Revolution. Which as you’ve rightly chronicled is more of replacing the old with something far worse. I have spent years of my life studying this as well and I have an angle.
You as well as millions of Nigerians have witnessed my kind of Revolution which is more about finding common grounds and rising as one with a Changed Mindset. That Revolution kickstarted in 2017 with #EndSARS and other advocacies we didn’t even publicized. So it has begun.
The Conscious Revolution Paradigm is what counts. It is not about burning tyres or mowing people perceived to be agents of Lucifer down on the streets. That is far from what we have in mind. If the people renew their minds, a change will be forced by a united people.
The kind of violent Revolution we have seen in the past will bring no change. The revolution of 2015 got those that emotionally plunged themselves into being tooled by political opportunists, brought us the aberration of now. I warned back then. The tweets are out there.
There’s always a better approach and this has been our edge in all that we have done in the past decades across board. No doubt, “staging a revolution for ignorant folks stroking their chains in captivity is like setting yourself on fire to light the path for the blind.”
Also the abysmal incompetence of a government weaponizing poverty and promoting identity politics of hate (Populism) will always make one believe mistakenly that their reign will be over quickly but we have not seen anything yet. Majority will still praise far worse impunity.
A lot of evil will still be re-legitimized to our shock. It also gets worse with the opposition in disarray. Far more hatred will be promoted which is why we must never give credence to their poisonous narratives. It will take a major disaster to get NIGERIA off their chains.
A lot of people sit in their homes hoping that soon people will turn against the aberration of now but they might be wrong. Nigerians have an uncanny adaptive feature that normalizes evil as long as people believe their lack of empathy needs no psychological intervention.
The Revolution started a while back, patriots and even the government are a part of it already. More will be revealed as we proceed with educating the people and raising more transformational leaders who are easy to govern, difficult to rule & impossible to enslave. #RiseAsOne
I need not stress the fact that I appreciate you more than youm’ll ever know and any son of man would ever understand. Nothing can change this position. Our dialogue educated many and enriches us as well. Layered folks need this to find a new reason to appreciate themselves more.
Thanks for always and thanks for demonstrating leadership. I also apologize if in the cause of my exegesis or what may read to some as an exfoliation, you took any any offense. That wasn’t my intention. You are deeply appreciated my Distinguished Sir.
