@ellievhall Anyways, this tumblr post from five years ago nailed exactly what's happening right now and why the violent actions of radicalized men, regardless of the space they're communicating in, aren't lining up with a traditional left and right political spectrum.
This chart has haunted me for a while now. The user, cryinwilson, was able to see something happening with the way young men were using the internet and, for the most part, got it right.
A few tweaks:

-"Bronies" should be "various internet subcultures"
-"tfw no gf" should be "the men's rights movement"
-"9gag and 4chan will unite" should be "memes will travel beyond the platforms that birthed them"

Then you end up with what happened this weekend.
