White male mass shooters have specifically targeted:

African Americans
Latinos
Sikhs
Jews
Muslims
Christians
Gays
Women
Children
People in
malls
places of worship
concerts
fairs
schools
theaters
parks
These lists will both expand and get more granular. But the pattern is clear. Rage and hate against anybody who isn't them. Which is the overwhelming majority of all of us.
Each of these communities, each town or city or group of people, by identity or by interest, has been terrorized. The terror too will expand and grow more granular. Unless we act.

I haven't been this sick since 2005 which I just figured out by looking up when "Walk the Line" came out. Finally being able to get out of bed to see that movie with a friend was the highlight of my holiday season that year.

Every time I see this movie I get sad these guys hate each other now
The reason this movie is so good is unlike other GenX sagas that occur in HS (Heathers, Breakfast Club) College (St Elmo’s) or post College (Singles 🤮), the “10 years!” reunion makes it so much more lastingly poignant

Both are claims which have to be proven, but none of all of them can prove it, so they continue sinking in loop of cyclone dilemma which can’t stop.

Great question. Let me respond with a short thread.
The Second Klan's nativism was both racial and religious in nature, a defense of "true Americanism" that they defined as White Anglo Saxon Protestantism.

So they targeted African Americans like the first Klan had, but also Jews and Catholics -- religions they deemed foreign.
Nationally, Catholics were the main threat in the Klan's eyes in the 1920s, as the numbers of Catholics had steadily grown over the previous decades with new waves of immigration from southern and eastern Europe.

The Klan capitalized on a wider panic over Catholic influence.

In the 1920's, the second rise of the KKK was less about terror and labor discipline, and more about building a mass movement—part social club, part electoral platform.

The KKK of the 1920's was a corporation that elected 11 governors, 16 senators and as many as 75 congressmen.
Women were a titanic force in the KKK of the 1920's, with as many as 1.5 million members at its high point. In Indiana, as many as a third of all Protestant white women were members.
