Everyone is still cross with Rebecca Long-Bailey, and I think you're all wrong, so we'll have another look what she said.
She makes three points to begin with.

1. We've had 2 years of chaos.

2. There is no majority for a no deal Brexit

3. MPs will make sure that doesn't happen.

There's nothing to fault in those three statements. They are all perfectly true.
Next follows a difficulty and dangerous question which I think is the source of so much dismay.

Will she support a government of national unity for the purpose of preventing a no deal Brexit?

Will she, twitter? Or will she not? Let's see . . .
Twitter, she will not.

She would much prefer a general election to a unity government involving a coalition of Labour and Tories.

I think we've found the source of the upset
She goes into some detail here about the form such a national unity government might take. And it's important to dwell on this because by the look of it her details seem to accurately read the situation.
Her understanding is that Boris Johnson would remain leader of the Conservative Party - which has nothing to do with parliament - while stepping down from the office of prime minister for a temporary period while Brexit was resolved.
This would allow Johnson to sit out the Brexit process, letting parliament do all the heavy lifting, and then when it was over he would take over government again and then lead the Tories into a general election.
As Long-Bailey sees it - and I have to agree with her - this would allow Johnson to absolve himself of responsibility for Brexit, and come to a general election as though free of blame.
This is what she means by "get out of jail free card."
So what the Labour Party wants instead of a national unity government, is the chance to offer itself to the country as a party of government, and let the country choose in a general election who we should be governed by.
And that is the sum of her case.
Twitter, there is nothing unreasonable or illegitimate in the Labour Party wanting to present itself to the country in a general election sooner than help a failed government out of the hole it has spent three tedious years digging for itself.
My judgement upon the case is that Rebecca Long-Bailey is right, and you have got it all wrong.
