Okay, I think I'll take a look back and see what I can find about The_Donald's quarantine, now that it's been nearly two months.
So on June 26, 2019, Reddit quarantined The_Donald for apparently violent comments.

theverge.com/2019/6/26/1875…
This was two days after an article, published on June 24, 2019, written by Alex Kaplan for Media Matters For America titled "A pro-Trump subreddit is full of calls for violence in support of Oregon Republicans".

A few days prior, on June 20, 2019, 11 Republican state senators in Oregon left the capitol building over a climate bill, some even leaving the state.

About one week later, on June 28, 2019, the 11 Republican state senators agreed to return to the Oregon capitol.

On the day of the walkout, June 20, 2019, the Governor of Oregon, Kate Brown, dispatched state troopers to find the 11 Republican state senators and bring them back to the capitol.

The author of the Media Matters piece, Alex Kaplan, joined the organisation in March 2015.

Media Matters For America was founded in May 2004 by David Brock, who received $2 million from liberal contributors at the time of its founding.

On July 23, 2019, Steve Huffman, the CEO of Reddit, spoke with Kara Swisher for Vox's Recode Decode, which was ultimately about The_Donald's quarantine situation.

HUFFMAN: "It was like, 'we're not sure quite how to ban it yet or how to justify this, but this is not what we want users seeing. This is not what we want to be representing to the world. So we're going to put them in this kind of list of sanctions.'"

vox.com/recode/2019/7/…
HUFFMAN: "The day before we applied the quarantining feature, I woke up and I just said, 'You know what? Fundamentally what this community is doing is wasting or time. They're attacking this company. They're deliberately posting nasty stuff..."

vox.com/recode/2019/7/…
HUFFMAN: "The_Donald, if you asked the far left, that's where Nazis are born and bred. I think a little bit closer to reality is that their ethos is less in hate and more in pissing off liberals, which is annoying, they're really good at it, it's not against our content policy."
HUFFMAN: "Most recently, there were comments suggesting violence towards police officers - ironically, given their politics - in Oregon during that whole thing. We saw some of those comments reported and banned by moderators, which is what we would expect."
HUFFMAN: "We saw other of those comments not reported, therefore not banned and even upvoted. So what we did with quarantining, in this case, is it basically puts a splash page on The_Donald and says 'There's violent content here. We expect change.'"

vox.com/recode/2019/7/…
HUFFMAN: "The_Donald bans more users than just about any other community on Reddit."

*gets quarantined*

vox.com/recode/2019/7/…
HUFFMAN: "It's an absurd claim. How could you possibly make the claim that the right is being silenced in this country when Donald Trump is president and they control the Senate and they controlled the House for years?"

*quarantines The_Donald*

So here Huffman says that he and his moderating team or whatever saw comments on The_Donald about violent threats towards cops.

And here is the Media Matters article about that very subject, two days before the quarantine.

Back in May 2015, Correct the Record PAC was founded, and around April 2016, their Barrier Breakers project received $1 million and focused on 'pushing back' against anti-Hillary comments on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and Instagram.

Angelo Carusone is the current President of Media Matters, and has made to note that he previously led a "Dump Trump" campaign back in 2012 for Macy's to terminate their relationship with Trump.

While Media Matter was founded in 2004, the Super PAC known as American Bridge 21st Century, also created by David Brock, was founded in November 2010.

In March 2019, American Bridge 21st Century launched a $50 million effort to stop support for Trump in order to try and prevent his next electoral college victory.

Interestingly, Andrew Gillum joined the board of this Super PAC.

In 2017, Reddit raised $200 million, with money coming from Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Coatue, Vy Capital, Fidelity, Sam Altman and Ron Conway.

David Brock was also on the board for Priorities USA back in 2015 and did a lot of shifty stuff to allow him to operate about two or three roles at once to help out the Clinton campaign.

"He has also had to cut off operational discussions with another group he founded, American Bridge, which provides research to Priorities and the rest of the independent groups supporting Democratic federal candidates in the 2016 election."

A man called Will Lippincott is a founding board member and present board secretary for Media Matters, and has previously served on American Bridge 21st Century's board.

Back on January 25, 2018, /r/Politics announced that they would remove Shareblue from their whitelist, which applied to all outlets operated by True Blue Media LLC and Shareblue Media.

True Blue Media LLC was also formed, sometime in 2015, by David Brock.

On November 25, 2015, it was announced that Blue Nation Review was sold to True Blue Media.

More specifically, David Brock founded True Blue Media LLC in early November 2015. He then selected Peter Daou to lead it as the Chief Executive Officer.

Just in case you wondered, Peter Daou is now a Bernie Bro.

I'm stopping there for now, I'll come back to this later.
Turns out that Peter Daou is related to the Jong-Fast family as he is the nephew of Erica Jong.

"My aunt wrote Fear of Flying. Most of my family suffers from it. I didn't realize overcoming a phobia excuses sexual assault." - Peter Daou
