ZOG is not be confused with the ever natty King Zog of Albania (one of my favorite potential film characters) but a fictional enemy that gets milita folks all lathered up. The problem is most of these militias were made up of FBI informants. Ergo the growth of the "Lone Wolf"
Guys like "Norman Spear" are lit up like guitar solos by brigades of federal hunt and peckers who not only search these clowns but try to get them to cross the violence/conspiracy threshold. They are just as likely to show to a Fed-run terrorism camp. vice.com/en_us/article/…

The "cognitive elite" was an old "bell curve" concept that we see in manipulative industries. Tiny groups that own other people's data and can manipulate it for gain, versus large groups of people who don't understand how their data is used against them. aei.org/publication/th…
Inequality in everything from student debt, to access to computers to literacy has created a knowledge gap about how small groups of people can control much larger groups. economist.com/special-report…
This is not about money. This is about a group of people who feel they are superior to the masses and engage in business practices that rely on trickery or human flaws to make money. As a Latina Jew, the daughter of a mixed marriage, I'm who the #ElPaso shooter wanted to kill.

Meanwhile 45 blames neurodivergent people like me for mass shootings.

It's weird to be scapegoated for the actions of a shooter who calls for deportation and murder of people like me.
In the aftermath of these shootings, we're always looking for individual - rather than systemic - factors to explain how this keeps happening.

It's a way of distancing ourselves. We need to believe that only a monster, or some "crazy person" could do something like this.
But here's the rub: as many as 25% of Americans struggle with emotional and cognitive wellness for one reason or another.

If our struggles were the leading cause of shooting sprees, we'd have a much bigger problem on our hands than we currently do.
