One of the organizers of Saturday's right wing gathering in Portland has spoken with Jesus, and he gave her and a friend of hers signs that it's going to be ok. facebook.com/PatriotPrayerU…
Meanwhile, another organizer is circulating messages from Q to keep the troops energized for Saturday's event.
At 4:45 on that video the speaker claims that the City of Portland, by serving outstanding warrants on "patriots," is "instigating them to violence."
At 6:00 she describes this as "the Super Bowl of rallies. We've already won. We have national attention. We have Ted Cruz. We have Donald Trump."
The goal of the rally, according to this person, is to "shed light on the evil of Portland." Hmmm, I thought this was about people with actual political ideas who merely wanted to exercise their right to express them. <sarcasm>
I won't even touch the fact that someone from Texas organized a rally in Portland to which hundreds of people are supposedly flying in from around the country to....expose the "evils" of a city in which these people don't even live. Um, ok.
At 7:00 she calls for all right wing attendees to be completely peaceful, to just kneel and pray, including the angry fight club dudes who have organized it. Here's hoping they heed her words and that the day passes with no violence.
At 11:00 she basically admits that the out of town organizers have come to Portland looking for a fight and she's "begging" them not to do it. I have no idea who this woman is, but this is pretty interesting...as are the comments on the video (which contain a range of opinions).
At 12:30 she says she's doing this with Joey Gibson's approval because he's banned from doing live videos. Gibson is the leader of Patriot Prayer. "If you want to win this, get on your knees and pray for your enemy. That's the only thing you can do."
This is the key moment. 14:20. "We've already won because Ted Cruz and Trump are going to declare Antifa a domestic terrorist group." Her argument is that any violence will get blamed on "the patriots" no matter what. Thus, let the Republicans in DC take it from here.
At 15:00 we learn that this pro-Trump rally is modeled on the Civil Rights Movement. Okey dokey.
The goal is to show that their movement is a peaceful one. FWIW, here's what these "peaceful" people looked like at a rally they held last summer.
Here's some context on the "Cider Riot" episode she refers to. It's a popular hang out for leftists in a fairly "out of the way" part of town. These right wingers went there looking for a fight and got one. expo.oregonlive.com/news/g66l-2019…
This Patriot Prayer group is quite small and locally-oriented. But it's leader, Joey Gibson, is working hard to become a national figure on the right. He opened for Dinesh D'Souza back in May, for example.
In sum, this whole thing is a vast grift by a group of people who know they have zero chance of ever winning an actual election in Oregon or Washington. Thus, their only hope is to get noticed by Fox or the Trump people and get hooked up to that gravy train.
Here's a thread with tons of evidence attesting to the violent intent of this supposedly "peaceful" Patriot group. Note the many references to Pinochet and "communists." This is why they keep using that word to refer to Portland officials and residents.
So while these folks may have zero sense what "communism" means in terms of political philosophy. They 100% understand the propaganda uses of that term as a way to justify right wing violence against political opponents.
