Why do Bengali associations break down?

1. Conflict between generations: the prabeens (established professor of civil engineering, Allstate insurance agent) who want Manna Dey & Suchitra Mitra vs the nabeens (senior engineer, data scientist) who want Fossils, and Anupam Roy.
2. Interpersonal conflict: Niloy-da's (association founder) rebellious daughter has just been convinced on the promise of being the lead performer to dance Kathak during Durga Pujo program, while Prabir-da (major donor) wants his newly flown-in wife to do elocution in same slot
3. During annual event, which boudi's sari stall was given prominence over other boudi's handicraft's stall. Why did she get front entrance while I got next to the mans lavatory?
Khokon is a nice boy but his wife, who used to be on Dadagiri & was second heroine in a movie with Jeet, thinks she is above us, she didn't even spare making snarky comment at Ranu-di's mother's necklace set. Once Khokon's company does IPO, another association is formed.
Reason 5. "We don't want politics in Bengali association", says Bolai-da, "Do you know Nitai & a few of those other changras went to Modi rally in Texas with banner of Bengali association....by the way do you know bought a Didi painting this time in Kolkata? It is lovely"
6. The food was terrible, the chutney tasted like someone poured out tomato salsa and added sugar and the polau was re-heaten & stale, just because he is Association head does not mean his "cheler bou" always does catering.
