My firm compiled a bunch of oppo on Gillibrand months and months ago, mostly because we didn’t like her and wanted to have it in hand in case she took off. She didn’t. But suffice to say there are a lot of good reasons she didn’t sell to people who could have sold her.
That’s the dirty little secret here. Or not that secret if people bothered to look. I’m not saying she’s crooked. I’m just saying she’s not what she tried to convince people of. At all. Maybe that’s why she didn’t sell. People can smell a fraud and authenticity sells.
I don’t intend to air what we found. Maybe when she runs for re-election. But suffice to say, I was very, very unimpressed. And I’m very, very glad she has dropped out. And I think people comparing her to any other woman in the race are dissing the other women.
I’ve seen a lot of dirt on Elizabeth Warren. And I would never vote for Elizabeth Warren. But she’s still better than Gillibrand IMO. So there you are.
