Tangential to this, but when those Golf articles went around, the semi-coordinated/semi-spontaneous reaction I saw in Trumpland was "Why would he need to cheat? He's a world class golfer. :laugh cry emoji:"
Just like: "Why would he need to take bribes? He's rich."

I note it's semi-spontaneous because no one really needs to circulate those talking points, they're natural and obvious.

Like, they are absolutely looking for their lines and their marching orders, which might come from his Twitter or from Fox News or the meme pits, but they also, to a great degree, can just figure out what the next line is just working from first principles.
Tomorrow if Donald Trump is accused of evading taxidermy and committing gross acts of philately, the usual suspects on Twitter will, without stopping to look those words up, reply "I think you mean Hillary :laugh emoji:"
