80% of Warren supporters in new early-state poll say they'd be enthusiastic or satisfied if Sanders won the nomination. Basically the same results for Sanders supporters asked about Warren. cbsnews.com/news/cbs-news-…
I'm generally very skeptical about "X is only an online thing" arguments, but antipathy between Warren and Sanders supporters isn't just an online thing, it's a small-slice-of-online thing.
Enthusiasm is high for both Warren and Sanders in this poll. Only 15% of early-state Dems say they'd be disappointed or angry if Warren won the nom, and only 24% if Bernie did. (31% say they would be if Biden won.)

The US has facilities at Nassau and Freeport airports to process Bahamians without visas, and has for years. Since the hurricane, that program has been expanded to cover ferries as well. The policy was revoked without warning tonight.

The guy who wrote it is a troll—he's not actually pro-Bernie. (Two years ago he wrote in a column that Sanders' views on religious pluralism offered "a stunning misunderstanding of ... the Constitution" and constituted "a threat to Americans of all faiths.")

Gillibrand was right about Franken, and the damage that being right did to her presidential campaign is a reminder of how much work still remains to be done in combating sexual harassment in politics.
(And just to get in before these replies: She didn't act on her own against Franken, and she didn't drive him from the Senate. She was the spokesperson for half a dozen of her colleagues, and Franken made his own decisions.)
And if you're gonna reply with "no, she was wrong," you could at least ... offer some sort of explanation for your opinion, or disagree with something I said. This thread isn't a poll.

The bonds issued to support the financing needs of the project were subscribed by Franklin MF and Birla MF. The bonds are guaranteed by the AP Govt but it's not sure if the Govt would keep servicing the bonds. The risk of lending to a state govt has again come to the fore. 3/11

This awed tone of MSM coverage of #Sanders is so gendered.

Harris and Klobuchar are both daughters of single mothers who had to raise their kids alone after their husbands left the families.
Warren also grew up in a working class family in Oklahoma.

But the coverage of these women not only hasn't reflected this awe of their families' struggles, but has been harshly critical.

Harris and Klobuchar both had to work harder than their male counterparts to get on their college & career paths, due to their backgrounds.

Really awesome detection of 21cm absorption in the early universe (z=17). I’m very impressed that this measurement can be made. Surprising result - to most cosmologists - is how strong it is - about 2.5x stronger than expected in LCDM.
This does not surprise me. It is exactly the kind of test I proposed 20 years ago based on the cosmic baryon fraction. If LCDM is correct, fb=0.16. If dark matter is a chimera indicative of some modified gravity, then really fb=1. xxx.lanl.gov/abs/astro-ph/9…
This new result is nice because it provides a clean test. The rest of the physics is basically the same (radiative transfer) in either case. The baryon fraction is the one parameter that predicts a big difference. The strength of the signal depends on the 1/sqrt(fb).
