I bet I wasn't the only one driven out of academia by sexual assault, threats and harassment.
Maybe some were too threatening to the men in the room, and there was a reason we weren't supported when we tried to get help (or told we were spending too much time out of the lab).

Maybe some just didn't abide being used as tools to wash the reputation of the sexual predator donating soft research grants, and didn't receive the same opportunities as the others.
