I used to hate waking up early.

Nowadays, it's my peace.

In a hectic world..

Waking up when it's dark has a sense of calm that money can't buy.
Many people want to wake up early, but struggle to do so.

I know I used to fall in that boat.

There were multiple times I began, but ended up quitting.

So I began experimenting...
I'll share what works for me.

You can apply some of the principles & add your unique twist.

Let us begin
First of all, ask yourself why?

The reason I kept quitting before was because I had no clear direction as to why I was waking up early.

I just thought it was the 'right' thing to do.

Reality check...

The 'right' thing to do is completely subjective.
After doin` some soul searching, I realized I was doing it to challenge myself.

I hated waking up early growing up.

And wanted to test my mental toughness & discipline.

So now I discovered my WHY
After getting the why, I felt more rejuvenated.

I'd feel like I was letting myself down if I was hitting the snooze button.

So once the alarm rang at 5am, i'd get up no questions asked.
You need to EXPECT the grogginess.

Once you expect the grogginess & get up anyways, you realize that it goes away.

Getting up is the hardest part.

Everything else is the easier part.
After I got set up, I drank water.

Water is huge when you wake up.

Gets rid of the grogginess quicker & has you feeling mentally alert
The next 2 hours are broken into 2 fragments:

1. Mental training
2. Physical training.
1. Mental training

1st 15 min - meditate
2nd 15 min - visualize
3rd 15 min - journal
4th 15 min - plan my day
2. Physical training

30 min- weight lifting
30 min- yoga
By the time it's hitting 7:15-30 ish am,

I already took care of my mind & body.

And when you take care of your mind & body, you also take care of your emotions, soul & focus.

So you begin an avalanche of productivity
I've been doing this for a few months now.

And it was one of the better decisions I made.

Starting off your day off the right tone builds your momentum.

And just like anything in this world, waking up early is a skill.

It can be developed overtime
So if you are thinking up joining the 5am club (or even earlier) begin by finding your WHY.

Once you do that, you set the right path.

All you gotta do now is walk forward (aka experiment with routines).

After a while , you'll see what works for you
Keep the habit going & you'll find this to be a great decision.

Waking up early has a peaceful experience that money can't buy.

Build the momentum & you'll separate yourself from the herd
