Nowadays, it's my peace.
In a hectic world..
Waking up when it's dark has a sense of calm that money can't buy.
I know I used to fall in that boat.
There were multiple times I began, but ended up quitting.
So I began experimenting...
You can apply some of the principles & add your unique twist.
Let us begin
The reason I kept quitting before was because I had no clear direction as to why I was waking up early.
I just thought it was the 'right' thing to do.
Reality check...
The 'right' thing to do is completely subjective.
I hated waking up early growing up.
And wanted to test my mental toughness & discipline.
So now I discovered my WHY
I'd feel like I was letting myself down if I was hitting the snooze button.
So once the alarm rang at 5am, i'd get up no questions asked.
Once you expect the grogginess & get up anyways, you realize that it goes away.
Getting up is the hardest part.
Everything else is the easier part.
Water is huge when you wake up.
Gets rid of the grogginess quicker & has you feeling mentally alert
1. Mental training
2. Physical training.
1st 15 min - meditate
2nd 15 min - visualize
3rd 15 min - journal
4th 15 min - plan my day
30 min- weight lifting
30 min- yoga
I already took care of my mind & body.
And when you take care of your mind & body, you also take care of your emotions, soul & focus.
So you begin an avalanche of productivity
And it was one of the better decisions I made.
Starting off your day off the right tone builds your momentum.
And just like anything in this world, waking up early is a skill.
It can be developed overtime
Once you do that, you set the right path.
All you gotta do now is walk forward (aka experiment with routines).
After a while , you'll see what works for you
Waking up early has a peaceful experience that money can't buy.
Build the momentum & you'll separate yourself from the herd
