#DidYouKnow that as part of measures to secure Nigeria’s land & maritime borders, @CustomsNG & @nigimmigration in collaboration with @DefenceInfoNG, @PoliceNG & other security & intel agencies are currently conducting a Joint Border Security Exercise, codenamed EX-SWIFT RESPONSE.
The Joint Exercise is being coordinated by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), and is taking place in 4 geopolitical zones: South South, South West, North Central and North West.

The overall objective is to ensure the security of Nigeria. #SecuringNigeria
In addition to the immediate objectives of addressing trans-border security challenges such as terrorism, armed banditry, smuggling, & proliferation of arms, the Exercise is also expected to promote interagency cooperation among security and intelligence agencies
