Man there are some STRONG feelings out there about Soviet contributions in WWII

Usually tied to Soviet body count, which isn't surprising. You can't lose 20 million people without it being a pretty big deal

But.

Body counts are not a determination of success.
The Soviets were able to fight their way back due to Allied investment, Allied supplies, manpower reserves, and national will -- not just national will and manpower reserves alone. Also, that the Japanese did not try a redux of the Russo-Japanese War.

Lewandowski just told the Judiciary Committee that he had taken dictation for Trump "many times."

But Lewandowski told Mueller that the only time he ever took dictation from Trump was on June 19, 2017. (Vol 2. Pg 91)

So he either just lied to Congress or lied to Mueller.

Me : The most shocking thing has been the extreme level of ignorance of the plight of many people in this country. I knew some lived in a bubble but even I have been taken aback by this.
... the one good thing about the referendum is it has made a few more people aware, alas some want to go back to ignoring it. I know some were traumatised by the result but that pales into insignificance compared to the trauma of everyday life for many.
I know some say that #brexit is taking away "our future" but for many any future, any hope was taken long ago and it wasn't getting better. This is what we need to fix, this is where we need to focus. I welcome #brexit. I'm happy with WTO. It gives us a chance to course correct.
