This is a good point...and reminds me that a good portion of the people who most avidly defended Kavanaugh against the supposed "sexual assault witch hunt" were the same people who worked on or alongside Ken Starr's team in the late 90s.
Amongst those crusading Starr Warriors who helped raise the nation's awareness about sexual harassment? Brett Kavanaugh.
It's interesting that Kavanaugh (AFAIK) did not bring up his work on the Starr Report in his own defense. As in, "I obviously take sexual harassment seriously, as shown by my work exposing Bill Clinton's misdeeds."
He didn't say that because the Starr Chamber had nothing to do with defending a woman's right not to be sexually harassed. It had to do with taking down the Clintons, with whom they were pathologically obsessed. And still are, one might add.
This is just your latest reminder that even when the GOP appears to be doing the right thing (in this case, exposing the President's sexual harassment) their real motives have little to do with the principles they claim to be upholding.
