Memo to the Resistance: stop being so god damn fatalistic. As things keep getting worse for Trump, the fatalists keep yelling more loudly about how he's going to magically get away with it all. That bullshit is toxic. These folks need to shut the fuck up and get out of our way.
Trump is being targeted for indictment by a NY grand jury, and the fatalists are already insisting it'll go nowhere because the Manhattan DA is a turd. But the DA isn't running this show, the NY AG is. The fatalists don't even know what they're talking about most of the time.
These are the same fatalists who have been too busy yelling "impeachment will never even begin" to realize that it already fucking began. It's fucking ridiculous.
I get that there's so much bad news, maybe you're afraid to get your hopes up when genuine good news comes along. Okay. But that's not an excuse to start hijacking every thread and comment section, and screaming like an asshole about how he's going to get away with it all.
If you're so ruined by all this that you have to (inaccurately) shit all over good news when it arrives, you need to step away for awhile. You're just demotivating the people who are trying to fight and win. You're doing severe, unconscionable damage. Get off the damn stage.
If you've been paying attention and you understand how things actually work, you know that Trump hasn't gotten away with a goddamn thing. His life is over. He dies penniless in prison. His kids go to prison. He's the textbook definition of fucked. Even he knows it.
Remember when Trump hired John Bolton, and the fatalists said it meant Trump was going to magically get away with invading Iran? Didn't happen. 85% of his antics end up failing because of the activists fighting him, or they were laughably hollow threats to begin with.
In any case, I will be automatically blocking every fatalist who replies to my tweets with stupid bullshit like "he's going to get away with it all" or "he's magically going to win." I will not allow my feed to be used to spread that kind of irresponsibly inaccurate toxicity.
