Church, there is so much learning & unlearning to do.
We traded belonging for empire/colonization, that's what we continue to inherit in the white church.
So, apologize to the plants.
And mean it.

There is a reason Indigenous rights activism is one of the most dangerous in the world. The elders right now who are laying their bodies on the ground to save sacred land all over the world are honoring a Being, not just an idea.
So, maybe we are at a crossroads.
