Trump attacking a whistleblower who was promised protection from retaliation by the acting DNI >>>
Here's the part of the DNI's Sept. 17 letter when his top counsel says "we will not permit the complainant to be subject ot any retaliation or adverse consequence" for filing the complaint with the IG. 
Also worth emphasizing: Trump (whose White House knows at least some elements of the whistleblower complaint) seems to be confirming that he knows exactly which phone conversation it refers to and even recalls his tone during that conversation.
