This is a very important story.
One caveat I would add here: many Ukraine-based troll-style operations are commercial enterprises of oligarchs or others, and not necessarily Ukrainian-funded.
Lots of state-level actors will use these commercial ops to mask activities.

This could also be paid for by a US entity or, say, a political campaign. I've had multiple pings from political consultants asking if I know of "Eastern European" troll outfits to "help" on something. It's grotesque.
Also -- this, in which shady actors in same Ukrainian city are part of Giuliani network....
