4. Trump promised to investigate Hillary and put her in jail at one of the Presidential debates. I objected to it when he said it then. I object to such calls by Presidents and White Houses now.
5. As to the phone call, CNN reported that the whistle blower "didn't have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN." That's huge. If true, the "whistleblower" was not on the call and didn't read the transcript. He/she "heard" about it.

7. Transcripts of POTUS calls should NOT be released. Otherwise, anyone "whistleblowing" could force a POTUS call with a foreign leader to be made public. Foreign leaders must know their calls with POTUS will remain private, regardless of who the POTUS is.
8. Bottom line: If POTUS called on a foreign nation to investigate Biden, it was inappropriate. But so too was Obama asking Putin to help his re-election so he could have more flexibility after the election
