On the Trump-Ukraine phone call: Whenever someone (Ds and media in this case) scream for impeachment and go into full feeding frenzy, I tend to slow down, wait, read, watch and then weigh in. Here's why I'm concerened, but think there is less here than meets the eye.
1. POTUS continues to do harm when he calls for his political foes to be investigated, as he does all the time. Presidents should stay out of the investigation business, because they inherently politicize it.
2. Decisions about who to prosecute should be made by Justice officials, without a presidential thumb on the scale.
3. The reason he does it is because he continues 2act like an outsider, even though he is POTUS. He just lets it rip the way an outsider would if he saw something in the government he doesn't like. It's also how he targets those who oppose him. I find it wrong and inappropriate.
