The other person who should be feeling some heat is Mark Sedwill. Ultimately he is one of the guarantors of the constitution and the Queen’s neutrality. What did he say to the PM about prorogation? And to the palace? And was anything asked of him by them?
And Geoffrey Cox, who advised cabinet prorogation was lawful.

An extraordinarily bombastic performance from the prime minister. It does occur to me that if he doesn’t show some humility after the laceration the Supreme Court gave him yesterday it’s difficult to imagine any circumstances in which he would.
Jo Swinson asks the PM why he can't apologise for the prorogation.

He refuses.

It is extraordinary that- even if he believes right was on his side-he hasn't apologised for the rigmarole (to coin a phrase) of all this.
Early warning signal for PM. Richard Drax asks Johnson to assure him that the deal he brings back "bears no resemblance" to Theresa May's deal.

Whatever deal Johnson brings back it will be virtually identical save for the backstop which will just be called something else.

Boris Johnson: "I was told Brussels would never accept alternative arrangements to the backstop."

That is not true. Brussels has always said that if the government could come up with something as good it would never be needed. That's why it's quite literally called "a backstop".

This isn’t going to get much attention today but worth noting. #Lab19 is still just about ongoing and they’ve just unanimously passed a motion which pledges to maintain Freedom of Movement as part of any Brexit deal.
So...does this mean Freedom of Movement will be part of Labour’s Brexit deal which they’ll put against remain? Which will also include a customs union and single market alignment. So Norway+ essentially. That could be...politically tricky.
Labour source confirms that Freedom of Movement is now Lab policy as conf is “sovereign body”. When I asked if it will therefore be included in any Labour Brexit deal put to the people (vs remain) source said that’s up to the EU but “some form of it” could well be.

The drought of 1930 created the great dust bowl & the migration to CA by 1934, an estimated 35 million acres of formerly cultivated land had been rendered useless for farming, another 125 million acres, an area roughly 3/4 the size of Texas—was rapidly losing its topsoil.
On May 11, 1934, a massive dust storm two miles high traveled 2,000 miles to the East Coast, blotting out monuments such as the Statue of Liberty and the U.S. Capitol.

Thanks to @yashar and @danidonovan and countless others sharing our stories, #ADHD is trending. One facet I haven't yet seen discussion of (or I've just missed) is how difficult it is to jump through the federal regulations hoops to access medication. 1/
I've written about this before, particularly during the 6 months I had to go without healthcare last year because that's how long it took the state I'm in to enroll me--a full-time graduate student--in its Medicaid program (story for another time). 2/
First, there are the logistical difficulties. Everyone is different--I have narcolepsy in addition to ADHD, so Vyvanse works to treat both, but I have to take it every day. That means every 30 days, I have to get a refill. 3/
