So let's say the Dems hold a vote to impeach...what are we looking at? There are two possible outcomes. Every Dem votes for impeachment or Pelosi "allows" some of her people in Trump districts to vote no. Either way it's a political mess.
If the former happens, it's seen as a partisan action and the Dems in those Trump districts will pay a heavy price come Nov 2020. If the latter happens it's seen as a bipartisan effort that is AGAINST impeachment and a core group of Dem Trump haters pushing the impeachment.
From a political POV if Pelosi pulls the trigger on impeachment it would be one of the worse Political decisions every done in modern times. It would make the Clinton impeachment look like a brilliant political move. Imagine impeachment winning by only 2 votes in the house?🙄🙄
The "real" polls (before this latest Impeachment move started and the fake polls are pushed) show the vast majority of voters do not want anything to do with impeachment. That isn't going to change with a fake whistleblower or some stupid charges pushed by the media and Dems.
What the Dems are doing is not happening in a vacuum. Trump has already countered the whistleblower. Regardless of what the media and Dems say, the whistleblower Narrative is DOA, as far as the voters are concerned.
We will be subjected to a couple weeks of astroturfed "townhalls" in at risk Dem districts and gop districts trying to push political cover. We will be subjected to several weeks of "Impeachment drama/fear" and fake polls.
The Dems will then take some real polls, realize they haven't moved the needle on Political cover and make a decision if their hate for Trump is enough to cause them to commit political suicide. At this stage, who knows the answer to that?
Their effort to move the needle over the next month will be a failure. They aren't going to change many if any minds. In the end, IMO politicians arent brave. They will not willing slit their own throats. They can be stupid, even deluded but I've never seen a politician volunteer
...to end his/her own political career with a "tough" vote. Pelosi may force them kicking and screaming into a "yes" vote but it will not end well politically for her, her members, or her party.
