many of you may recall Mark Steyn's virtuoso satire of Joe Biden's war medal speech - in which every detail was wrong: (minute ~3:20). I'm wondering how much of Biden's six hours to fire prosecutor speech is fabricated.
2/ I've tried to hard (as has Michel Taub) to figure out a date in which facts reconcile. $1 billion loan guarantee connects events to Mar 31 visit of Poroshenko to Washington, two days AFTER firing of Shokin on Mar 29. Previous Biden visit to Kiev was on Dec 7-9, 2015.
3/ my guess is that Biden made up details of the story - especially the six hours, tho it seems very clear that Biden was pressuring the Ukrainian government to fire Shokin. Part of Biden's reluctance in defending himself may come from reluctance to admit that he fabricated
4/ key details. What a gong show. We're still left with fact that Zlochevsky case was NOT "dormant" when Shokin fired and that Biden was almost certainly instrumental in firing Shokin. It's just the dramatic details that appear to be fabricated.
5/ Biden's fantastic ramblings remind me of a senile Papadopoulos.
