Norway is working on introducing a new tax for every kilometer you drive with your car.
The state will fit a GPS tracker in your car and monitor how much you drive, and then send you the bill.

The base cost will start around 2 cents per kilometer if you drive in the countryside, and about 50 cents at rush hour in the city.
And if you have a bigger engine, will be more expensive.
This is crazy.

The Norwegian state will have a GPS tracker in your car at all times. This does not sound Orwellian at all...
In fact, this is another step towards limiting freedoms. Taxing people like crazy for every kilometer you drive your car.
All for the sake of the "environment".
