Is it really about Corbyn being unpopular, or is it about how popular he could be?

It seems evident that a lot of people are more anti Corbyn than they are anti Brexit, if a no deal Brexit is such a terrible disaster, you would think that holding your nose for a few weeks wouldn't be so difficult. A caretaker PM only has the power given to them by parliament
There's literally nothing Corbyn could do, that has any significant opposition, as he doesn't have the parliamentary numbers. There's no harm at all for the country, by putting him there, just for a short stint, unless you are a political opponent & his tenure proves popular
If he's well received by foreign leaders, the EU, if he follows through with his commitments, his popularity would quickly rise & this would put him & Labour into a pretty solid position for the next GE. This, of course, would be dreadful for Jo Swindon & the Lib Dems
Labour's position on Brexit is by far the least divisive of all of the UK parties, it isn't a position that says "f*ck you Leavers" or "f*ck you Remainers", it says "we respect your positions, let's have a proper vote on it to break through this deadlock"
Labour is that party of unity

The Tories are hell-bent on leaving, almost certainly without any transitional deal

The Lib Dems are "let's just revoke" having pushed for a referendum for ages, until recently

Corbyn should lead this GNU, it makes no real sense to put in another
Unless you are concerned about the prospect of Corbyn looking good, delivering what has been promised & doing so, whilst being in useful engagement with world leaders..... This is not a concern you would have, if you thought he was terrible
It's a concern you will have, if your political ambitions are likely to be thwarted

When your political ambitions are stronger than your desire to kill off a no deal Brexit, what kind of person are you?
The prospect of Corbyn looking good during this time, is the only real reason, for any politician to be against it, because the numbers simply aren't there, for Corbyn to be able to run amok
