After the tears and the verdict, we learn more about Amber Guyer at the sentencing phase. This woman should never have been a police ofcr, armed by the state. The Dallas Police Dept has to answer some questions. wfaa.com/article/news/s…
Identify the ofcrs w/whom she had these communications & take disciplinary action up to termination. Reveal civilian complaints lodged against her. Review her arrests and other incidents involving use of force. Work w prosecutors to vacate sentences & expunge where apropriate.
And this, at a minimum, should be standard protocol whenever an ofcr is found to have engaged in racist communications or acts.

This is not some rogue action by the @BaltimoreSAO. The MD General Assembly passed a bill last session giving the State’s Attorney the authority to seek these dismissals. baltimoresun.com/news/crime/bs-…
These cases will not just be “tossed out.” There is a process. First the @BaltimoreSAO reviewed thousands of cases involving these officers. The 800 selected will be subject to hearings before judges who will ultimately decide.

@NAACP_LDF As a Justice, he brought his experience as a civil rts atty & his intellect to bear on the most wrenching legal issues of the late 20th century. And he was unwavering in bringing the truth of how the law really works in the lives of Black people into the Supreme Court conference.
@NAACP_LDF As Justice White once remarked, "Thurgood could tell us the way it was." But more importantly Justice White wrote, Marshall, "would tell us things we knew but would rather forget." A legal giant. His example is ever before us. #ThurgoodMarshall

As the work on building Amravati, the new capital city AP, comes to a grinding halt, concerns emerge about Amravati (APCRDA) bonds held by Franklin MF (~Rs. 1000 Cr) and Birla MF (Rs. ~300 Cr). Thread 1/11
During the Chandrababu Govt, Amravati received political as well as financial patronage. Now, with Jagan Reddy being incharge of the state, the project is in shambles. World Bank & ADB pulled out of the project and the Government is looking for reasons to scrap it. 2/n
The bonds issued to support the financing needs of the project were subscribed by Franklin MF and Birla MF. The bonds are guaranteed by the AP Govt but it's not sure if the Govt would keep servicing the bonds. The risk of lending to a state govt has again come to the fore. 3/11

If the UK Government does eventually give serving personnel this cash it won't go to the poorest paid, it'll go to people earning more than £27,200 (more than £28,193 next year). An army Private's pay starts at £18,859, RAF Police Officer £18,800, Navy Rating £18,489
Maybe the UK Government should think about paying people properly instead of these gimmicks. An RAF Firefighter gets paid from £18,800 while a firefighter in the Scottish Fire and Rescue service gets more than £22,000 in their development phase

#Women have much greater #hormonal fluctuations each month than #men do. Simply put, a woman's thought life and #emotions are more prone to high highs, and low lows. This isn't a "design flaw" but rather how #God made a #woman to be in touch with the needs of small #children.
Nothing is more short-sighted as a #man than viewing a #woman as an "overly emotional" or "flawed" version of a man's thought process or #emotions. A woman that does not let her emotions out will become very #passiveaggressive, #depressed or #angry. Your job is to be an #outlet.
