The more I think about that "essentially technical" line the more it annoys me.
For a start, it suggests a fundamental failure to understand the extent of the problem, or a willingness to lie about it.
Secondly, there's nothing technical about completely changing the manner in which people live their lives without their consent.
I could go on but I can't be arsed. The document doesn't really deserve sustained attention, either on its merits on the possibilities of its success. We'll probably have all forgotten about it within a fortnight.

Government advertising, using public money, still pumping out nonsense about a Brexit deadline which they've all-but admitted they won't make.
That Brexit preparation advertising campaign. The sheer embarrassment of it. Utterly without function, except as a kind of trolling propaganda. And now morphed into a reverse troll of the people who originated it.
People get too caught up in the whole Cummings we'll-blame-parliament strategy. If you put out a bunch of ads saying you'll do something by a certain date and then you fail, you look a twat. No need to over-complicate it.

Profoundly stupid. Powerfully, almost biblically dumb.
It's so easy to solve this problem. It's just basic sequencing. Vote of no confidence. Corbyn gets first go to see if there's Commons support. Then if he fails, someone else has a go.
It's not difficult. But petty dimwitted squabbling is apparently more important.

The Joker is quite staggeringly brilliant. As a package - direction, acting, the score (my god the score) - it's properly masterful.
I find all the stuff about copycat attacks and incels baffling. No-one will look at this and think: I'd like to emulate this life. It's the story of a bad guy. He does bad things.
It doesn't really have much to say politically it socially. The inclusion of De Niro is a misstep because it forces comparisons with films which do. I chose to watch it as a mature readers DC Elseworlds one-shot. And on that level it's incredible.

The point, in a nutshell, is that at the time of the referendum there was a general failure to understand the extent to which our legal, political, and economic arrangements had become tied up with the EU.
Vast areas of our law depend on EU law. And the economic model of businesses from farming to car manufacture to legal and financial services is structured around EU membership.

Welcome to new form of discrimination in digital era :P
It took me some time realise that google only indexes popular twitter handles and interactions on tweets by those accounts. I had to read stonetemple.com/twitter-indexi… to understand the extent of the problem.

Jarrod Ramos of Laurel made the defamation claim in Prince George's County Circuit Court in 2012 after a 2011 column by then-Capital staff writer Eric Hartley about Ramos' guilty plea to criminal harassment.
