This is an odd report (without even getting into Tapper's capitalization). What the ICIG wrote he identified was "some indicia of an arguable political bias on the part of the Complainant in favor of a rival political candidate." That seems more specific than party registration.

In any event, I'd refer all journalists to the fine words of the OTHER whistleblower -- "the focus should be on the facts presented."
