Senator Cornyn says Trump’s DOJ is investigating Vice President Biden.
While the Russia investigation into certain Trump associates began in 2016, word of it never leaked before the election, and several of those associates were charged and convicted. The broad expert consensus is Trump would’ve been charged too, were it not forbidden by DOJ policy.
It’s not clear whether Sen. Cornyn is confused or deliberately lying about the news that Trump is cajoling and coercing FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS to investigate Trump’s political rival, or he’s revealing the actual existence of a Trump DOJ Investigation into Trump’s political rival.
The scope of John Durham’s Investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation has not been previously reported to include VP Biden afaik

I would urge people not to pin their hopes on Romney but to observe these next few hours whether he influences any other Senators.
Rubio as of this morning was saying “it’s not a real request.”
I don’t understand how that’s a tenable line for Rubio after “Russia, if you’re listening” led to Russian hacking activity the same night and the emergence into public light of this full court press on Ukraine to make them act against Biden. But there’s a lot I don’t understand.
