Message from government to business - we're going to pretend we can defy Parliament so please keep spending money pointlessly. Our message of defying the EU is more important than your survival.
Utter cobblers, the Benn Act is refreshingly clear for legislation
The fact there's a majority against no-deal is what matters most. And a government encouraging business to spend money wastefully preparing for something that won't happen so they can look tough is something that should be receiving rather more attention.
Government backing on EU not offering UK an extension. As before, UK wishful thinking that we are more important than the EU. Not giving an extension would mean EU taking blame in particular for abandoning Ireland. Not happening, however reluctantly.
