No matter what anyone does, we can't seem to get media to report on the following—and it's giving Trump the bogus talking point in the tweet below—so here goes:

1/ I appreciate @jaketapper repeatedly asking whether Trump has ever sought a corruption investigation of anyone who's not a political rival (the answer is no), but the bigger issue is that he has ACTIVELY OPPOSED corruption investigations IN UKRAINE when they involve HIS ALLIES.
@jaketapper 2/ There are many places you can go to read about this, that establish the *unambiguous* understanding of the Ukrainians that they had to *stop* investigating corruption (repeat—*stop* investigating corruption) to please Trump, but here's a starting point: nyti.ms/2KwaP9p
@jaketapper 3/ Moreover, and this is so painfully obvious it hurts, not only did Trump use the withholding of military aid to PROMOTE corruption IN UKRAINE in 2018, he did the SAME THING in 2019 IN UKRAINE because using military aid to achieve personal ends is literally TEXTBOOK CORRUPTION.
