You would get 700. Not 1000. ATO gets 300. BUT when you do your tax return you MUST record $1000 income (not just the after tax 700 you got paid).

You have already paid $300 (the franked Credit) But still owe the ATO another $200. So you would now pay $200 to the ATO to meet your $500 tax obligation. However what if your personal rate was 19%? @TinaMurnotbot I defy anyone to listen to this presentation to the UN and not have their perceptions altered.
Its surprising because the speech runs in such stark contrast to our national broadcaster and social media content that encourages people to mock and deride Trump.
I bet Trump’s speech inclusively resonates with the majority of free people’s all over the world who value their democracy and their right to peaceful freedoms.

A concrete example: Marylin Webb had to quit her PhD program in the 60s because one male advisor sexually harassed her, another sexually assaulted her, and the University of Chicago did nothing to address it. nytimes.com/2019/05/25/opi…
Another example from U of C: after her advisor died, chemistry PhD student Cheryl Dembe couldn't find another prof to supervise her b/c she was a woman, so she quit. Her research resembled contemporaneous research that later won the Nobel Prize.
The University of Chicago finally granted Webb and Dembe PhDs this year.

Competence is knowing what to do in a situation and how to do it. It is not the same as excellence.
Excellence is dependent on other people, like judges, examiners, teachers, assessors, inspectors, auditors. But we can't control these people and whether they think we're excellent or not.

#b 'Teknik menjawab' is not a series of rituals that you carry out to secure an A in the exam. You don't get guaranteed an A just through superficial actions like highlighting keywords or drawing meniscus or inserting isi tersirat.
The problem is students and teachers treat teknik menjawab as some sort of pseudo magical ritualistic gestures that will bring a certain outcome. Draw a pentagram, slaughter a chicken, and your wish will be granted.
Some remote Pacific Islanders in 1940s came in contact with Allied and Japanese soldiers who were more technologically advanced and thought the soldiers were gods who had many "cargo" (canned food, electronics, modern stuff)
