Wow, the political establishment has ACTUALLY pissed me off at this point.

Anyone remember the back and forth about whether Afghanistan or Iraq were more important for the US to stay in during Obama elections? The ultimate fucking wedge issue that vapid moronic talking heads...
... debated endlessly back and forth as we sat there slack jawed and drooling not knowing why the fuck we were still in EITHER of those countries, and now remain so a goddamn decade later?

I'm no dove, I'm a fan of blasting to dust anyone looking at us crosseyed...
... but I'm sick and tired of whether or not we should be in a war out in the literal fucking boonies of the world being used as a political football. We all fucking KNOW that if we were in Syria a year from now the left would attack Trump for starting ANOTHER endless war.
So fuck them. Fuck Haley. Fuck Clinton. Fuck Biden. Fuck Obama. Fuck any Senator or Representative in either party who thinks we should be there for any other reason than so they can use it as a fucking political talking point.

1) Let's pose a hypothetical here. Let me present some hypotheses and some facts that build up into what I see as what happened.

Fact: Schiff coordinated the leaker effort to deal maximum damage for months preceding the complaint itself.
2) Fact: The whistleblower complaint was launched right when the DNI position was in flux, as the DNI's office would have to have been handling it so Schiff could make it an Intel committee matter rather than a Foreign Affairs committee manner (schiff heads intel, engle heads FA)
3) Fact: This complaint, even at the most basic understanding of the material it is about, has little to nothing to do with intelligence, it is Foreign Affairs or possibly Judiciary given Barr's involvement, as Acting DNI Maguire noted and acted upon.

1) I keep seeing the propagandist formerly known as Jamal Kushnugget making the rounds again.

I just want to remind everyone who this mother fucker is.
2) First of all, he was part of the middle east's upper class. His uncle, for example, was one of the gunrunners with connections to Iran who was involved in the Iran-Contra affair.
3) Jamal Kuntnugget himself was not a journalist. Writing op-eds does not make one a journalist. His only apparent 'credentials' for being a 'journalist' was being picked to run a news network in Saudi Arabia that lasted for all of 48 hours before being shut down.

Pompeo, in his Fox interview, made a few interesting statements on Afghanistan. 1) after the wedding attack, simply said US will continue to "decimate" "radical Islamic terrorism" "in a way that is smart and doesn’t require excess sacrifice on behalf of the American people." /1
That's a sensible balance, more than "end forever wars," signaling under Trump the US is not completely withdrawing from anywhere. and 2) Pompeo stated Trump's goal clear: reduce cost (money and lives) but ensure a posture that can reduce homeland attacks from Afgh. 2/
