The questions types like Ms Dillion can’t or won’t answer are these: Under what circumstances would they deem US withdrawal from Kurdish territory acceptable?
In the best case scenario how many additional years would it take to reach that state? If we stay until that theoretical future milestone and find those preferred conditions do not yet obtain are we allowed to withdraw then? If not, why not? And if so, why not now?
If the conditions are “stable Jeffersonian-style democracy” then just admit this isn’t about helping an ally but about colonizing a territory but with no promised economic benefit for the general population only elite enrichment.
