I could go on, but you get the point. This is why that heinous, hateful, genocidal video played at Trump Doral for the enjoyment of Trump's strongest supporters is not just "a joke." The political culture of the GOP is becoming more sociopathically anti-democratic every day.
Every single person in the GOP knows that Trump sees nothing wrong with that video. He probably thinks it's hilarious. Those who do not speak out forcibly against such things now are complicit with whatever terrible acts some future Ceasar Sayoc attempts.
The debasement of the GOP leadership is bad. What's potentially more dangerous is the extent to which the toxic and knowingly dishonest political culture of that party has radicalized significant portions of their base.
