Disney + just made the most epic Twitter thread we've ever seen.

400+ tweets announcing every single title that'll be available at launch.

Quick thoughts + analysis (thread):
Disney+ Brand Strategy: proudly show their wealth of IP.

Look at the Instagram Stories ads they've ran: confident logos and nothing more. Moving from every umbrella brand to every available title was the natural evolution.
Disney+ Brand Brief (probably): reveal the full roster of titles in a way that shows just how much Disney+ has.

Showing every single title in some capacity is the easy & right way to do it. Twitter happens to have a very natural way to do that...
Disney+ Channel Strategy: use long, exhaustive Twitter threads to show the scale of their IP.

It's a tactic they've already used twice to great success that naturally lends itself to big announcements w/ lots of info.
...I said it's 400+. It's actually 700+.
Now here's some master-level Twitter.

See how the timestamps are different? These tweets went up in batches, not as one big push. Keeps the thread at the top of your feed + constantly updating for a longggg time. Smart way to own hours vs a moment.
More brilliant Twitter tactical: giving every title its own tweet allows fans to react to specific movies.

You’re gonna see quote RTs like this allllll day long, which will get amplified to other users, then RTed again, and so on and so on.
Here‘s the top 75 shows / movies from that @disneyplus endless thread, ranked by engagement.

#1: the 90s X-Men animated series.
15,000+ engagements, easy win.

Nostalgia won for the most part - lots of love for old animated series.
