The SE Govs asked the President to declare a State-of-Emergency on the condition of inter-state Federal roads in the region, and also on the issue of erosion. President acknowledged the Infrastructure challenges/deficit and asked for understanding as @NigeriaGov works to fix it.
The President has just approved N10 billion for the upgrade of the Enugu Airport. Among other things the money will go into a much-needed extension of the Airport runway; operational equipment; security improvements, as well as an upgrade of the Terminal Building.
