Do I sound bitter? Does this sound personal? I am and it is. Here's why. The xenophobic party that Andrew leads disenfranchised me and fellow Canadians living abroad for the last few elections. I live in the US. Unlike Andrew I can't vote in the US. I can only vote in Canada.

I, along with @cpbreton, had to sue the Canadian government to restore our right to vote. @AndrewScheer's party fought tooth and nail to prevent us from getting our right to vote back. His "fiscally responsible" party wasted over a million dollars of tax payer money on this...

The gov't that dual citizen @AndrewScheer helped lead called those of us living abroad "Canadians of convenience." Their lawyers questioned our loyalty to Canada and our fitness to vote. It's mighty convenient that Andrew hung on to his American passport all these years.

@AndrewScheer. You can't trust @CPC_HQ. We know they love power and they love the powerful. In that sense, we know who they stand for but *what* do they really stand for? Theirs, in the end, is a politics of convenience.
