Some plagiarist masquerading as Odumegwu Ojukwu asked who visited Pres. Buhari before projects were executed in the South East. Ordinarily I will not respond to a pseudo account. I respond to human beings whose manhood are alive but Nzeogwu & Ifeajuna asked me to say a few words
In 2015 as President Elect Igbo elders visited Buhari and begged him not to neglect the zone in appointments and projects though the zone did not vote for him. He promised them Igbos will not be neglected. He appointed Igbos massively!

President Buhari again promised to expedite action. He also told the team that Igbos got 3 senior ministers, Labour, Foreign Affairs and trade and investment while his zone got Ministers of State. He did not include himself as Minister of Petroleum. The leaders left

I checked 2019 budget. Enugu runway was not captured. I guess it may have been too late. So I checked 2020 proposal, Enugu Airport Runway did not make the list. Where is the N10bn coming from?

The handsome and ebullient Minister Hadi Sirika, confirmed he visited the Airport thrice officially and twice unofficially and reported the runway had failed. Why it was not included in the budget may be due to reasons I don’t have access to.

Enugu Airport runway expansion was awarded in 2009 by Minister Omotoba at 4.13bn. The original project design and cost was above N10bn but when it went for Due Process Certificate it was turned down as their was no funding source for the 15% advance payment.
14. To avoid abandonment Sen Ekweremadu rallied Igbo legislators who all contributed their constituency project to the Enugu Airport. Total contribution was below the 15% of the original cost, so it was redesigned to N4bn to pass through BPP who insisted on budgetary provision
15.Eventually it was Enugu Legislators that bore the brunt of the contribution of constituency project funds and the project took off and was captured in following years as ongoing project through Sen. Ekweremadu’s leadership.

22. All his allegations were copied from the 2018 stories arising from the EFCC charge sheet. On reading the allegations I voluntarily went to EFCC office and explained that I awarded the contract but refused to make advance payment because we had lost the election.

24. As I always insist on procurement contracts, the Original Equipment Manufacturer was stated in the contract and Surcomtec is the Nigerian Representative of Panasonic, the OEM. All payments to surcomtec account was for Panasonic and EFCC confirmed that. It was not diversion.
The project continued unhindered after the investigations as no diversion was confirmed. EFCC confirmed all equipments paid for the project had been delivered to site. The petitioned like Dead Ojukwu was designed to malign and shut me up.

3. As at 1999 our London and Paris Club burden was about $36bn. We could not service our external debt and relied on stressful rescheduling, with all the conditionalities.

In 1994 I met with MKO and he gave me responsibility to help elect a NANS President that will support actualisation of June 12. I went to FUTO discussed with Dennis Inyang and with support from MKO he was elected. MKO introduced me to Kudirat & Fred Eno and we worked for Epetedo
When @fredeno (MKO’s PA) was arrested a few hours after I left him at Sheraton Lagos it took me months to locate him at Enugu Prison where Abacha goons were holding him incommunicado and he was sick. Mama Lekan (Kudirat Abiola) gave me money to help look after him at Enugu.
@fredeno is a true and unsung hero of June 12. He was the voice of the campaign after Abiola’s arrest. He was bold, eloquent and paid a huge price for the struggle.

At Enugu Prison he introduced me to Major DE West one of the Vatsa coup suspects sentenced to Life imprisonments.

I was on board the @flyairpeace that suffered the bird strike and had to make an emergency landing last Monday. The pilots were professional and they told me that was the 3rd bird strike suffered by the Airline at Enugu. I called Minister @hadisirika unsuccessfully to discuss
2. Issue of safety at Enu Airport. Safety is an important issue & should be handled professionally. The Minister’s statement and the response of Enugu State Govt. are in the right direction. Enugu Airport needs urgent holistic attention to improve safety and commercial viability
3. Fundamentally government should consider handing over the Airport building and infrastructure to Host State Governments while the Federal Government continue to regulate and operate safety, navigational aids and other international standards issues.

South East Govs & leaders met with the President today. Focus of Meeting: Infrastructure in the region: Roads, Rail, Airport.

They thanked him for finally moving the 2nd Niger Bridge “from political statement to reality”, and also for development work on Enyimba Economic City.
The SE Govs asked the President to declare a State-of-Emergency on the condition of inter-state Federal roads in the region, and also on the issue of erosion. President acknowledged the Infrastructure challenges/deficit and asked for understanding as @NigeriaGov works to fix it.
The President has just approved N10 billion for the upgrade of the Enugu Airport. Among other things the money will go into a much-needed extension of the Airport runway; operational equipment; security improvements, as well as an upgrade of the Terminal Building.

Buhari has not solved any problem since he came on board in 2015. Buhari did not fight corruption. Our Police is still one of the most corrupt in the world. Buhari did not fix our healthcare or even budget enough that will aid reforms. Our education sector is still in shambles
ASUU is still on strike. We now have the highest out of school children yet the President is promising to start remodeling schools after May 2019. Buhari supervised a lot of job losses and didn't fix unemployment. Buhari's first task was to make himself Petroleum minister
While the economy was on a free fall. Buhari did not fix the petroleum sector as it's still one of the most corrupt we've ever had. Subsidies were paid without appropriation for over a year under this government yet they are still owing subsidies to the tune of N1trn+

Between 2004 and 2011, I directed a semester long Washington, DC, program for law students. The program was a joint effort of @ACLJ and @RegentLaw. I taught a 3 hour substantive course on advanced constitutional law and an hour course on legal practice.
Under my supervision, participating students also completed an internship program in which they drafted pre-litigation memoranda, complaints, motions, briefs, engaged in a practice deposition, and a practice oral argument.
@RegentLaw ultimately approved student participation in the program I devised as satisfying both their upper level writing and oral advocacy requirements.

One day, as we were talking about ethics issues, the topic of ghost-writing came up.
