For anyone interested: It's a fact that much of my thinking on Islam has been deeply influenced by @Ed_Husain, with whom I shared a stage last year at the Sydney Opera House. His book "The House of Islam" is insanely good, as is "The Islamist."

@Ed_Husain The only thing I'll say to his army of trolls, after spending a couple days hosting them in my mentions, is that if they are genuinely interested in understanding Islam, and in understanding why Spencer & Co. are hatemongers, they need to read Ed's book.
