Facebook is not the New York Times or CNN, no matter how much people at the New York Times or CNN want it to be.
These are outdated models attempting to bring down the model and platform that stole their audience, as opposed to realizing they are the problem. This isn't hard. They think by turning facebook into a news publisher, they then can control the audience again. They can't.
People turned to Facebook because they could no longer trust journalists or media outlets. Until media outlets realize this and commit to rebuilding their own industry and reputations, Facebook will continue to kick their ass.
And you're not going to get your viewers back by attacking the thing they rely on more now. You get it back by stop being political activists. This is an attempt by legacy media and Democrats to control narratives once again. There's no going back to that. Ever.
They are the horse and carriage complaining about all those new dangerous automobile thingys on the road now. Nothing more.
