When this fiasco started the timeline was suppose to be for mid October...then Trump released the transcript and blew that timeline to hell....Pelosi had to change plans....hence the secret behind closed door "hearings" to drum up support.
But that only works for a fast Impeachment. The longer it draws out the more people see the attempted lynching.
When trying to form a mob and get mob justice speed is essential to the process.

The Dems due to Trump's actions on releasing the transcript now have a tarbaby named Impeachment. They can't put it down. The more they attempt to escape from it the more it clings to them.
I suppose that is what they should have expected when they allowed a 3rd rate politician to lead them.
