Senate President, @DrAhmadLawan and Speaker, @femigbaja meet with the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice for the presentation of Executive Legislative Agenda.
Senators present are Senators: Bassey Akpan, Aliyu Sabi, Emmanuel Bwacha, Abdullahi Yahaya, Ajayi Boroffice and Alhaji Sahabi.
“The concerns here is the need for us to ensure our laws are still in compliance with global best standards, practices and national interest. We work closely with the legislative and the judicial arm of government to enhance our laws.”- Attorney General, Abubakar Malami.
“The major issue of interest is having a harmonious working relationship that is in line with the interest of the Nation. The time is now ripe for us to work together in eliminating bottle necks in the passage of Bills.”- Abubakar Malami.
“You may recall that we have forwarded the Finance Bill and the Deep Offshore Bill which would have significant impact as they are believed to improve our tax laws.”- Abubakar Malami.
