Why is it controversial or a "GOP talking point" to advocate that impeachment proceedings, the most dramatic mechanism available in the Constitution, be conducted in public with maximum transparency?
Basic information stemming from this "impeachment inquiry" is being withheld from the public under the auspices of "national security" or whatever cockamamie justification Schiff comes up with on a given day. Instead we have to rely on leaks. It's ridiculous
Shouldn't the people *demanding impeachment* be most furious that it's all happening behind closed doors? If the case against Trump is so strong, put it all out there for public consumption and let us assess, rather than doing this sketchy kabuki theater routine
