SEQ Quarterly Patronage Q1 FY 16/17 to quarter Q4 FY 18/19.
The last 3 financial years have seen a steady climb in patronage, an increase of 9.4% over the 3 years, or an average yearly increase of ~3.13%.

@MarkBaileyMP @SteveMinnikinMP Looking at individual modes. Bus, heavy rail (Citytrain) and Light rail all show growth. Ferry is negative.

Recent construction activities have lead to some speed restrictions on river ferry which has had an impact.

@MarkBaileyMP @SteveMinnikinMP @QueenslandRail @gclightrail @railbotforum has set a target of 400 million annual passenger trips in 2029. If the present trend was maintained to 2029 it would equate to ~ 252 million passenger trips.
We need to do more. Rail is underutilised, there needs to be bus network reform to push growth.

With the new fare system (Smart Ticketing) on the way, @CrossRiverRail and Brisbane Metro ( which will deliver significant bus reform by itself) our target of 400 million is achievable.
